Microsoft Office for Home Use

Active faculty, staff and students may install Microsoft Office on their personally-owned computers through Office 365 ProPlus. It is available for UTK, UTSI, Knox-area, and UTM at no additional cost.

Download the software by logging into office365.utk.edu. It grants access to the latest versions of the Microsoft Office desktop applications and can be used for up to 5 computers (Windows or Mac).

Office for the iPad is also available through the App store and can be used by logging in with your University of Tennessee email address.

Microsoft Windows for Home Use for Students

Active, enrolled students are eligible to receive ONE copy of Windows 10 at no additional cost. Faculty or staff who are also actively enrolled as students are eligible for this download too.

Students who order Windows 10 Education through this Webstore will not lose access to the software after leaving UT. The software is yours to keep.

To order Windows through the Home Use Program:

1.     Access the Kivuto Web store at http://utk.onthehub.com

2.     Log in by clicking the ‘Sign In’ option in the upper right corner.

3.     Select the Students tab just below the search bar.

4.     Browse the Webstore.

5.     Select Windows 10 and click the ‘Add to Cart’ button.

6.     *Students are eligible to download ONE copy of Windows 10 at no cost.

8.     Click the ‘Shopping Cart’ button in the upper right of the page and select ‘View Full Cart’

10. Determine if you would like to purchase the Extended Access Guarantee, if applicable to your order.

     *Keep in mind, OIT cannot replace lost or misplaced installations or product keys.

11. Once you have made your selections, click the ‘Check Out’ button at the bottom of the cart.

12. Complete your transaction by following the on-screen instructions.

Using Windows for Bootcamp

In order to use Windows for Bootcamp you will need to download the ISO as per the Windows 10 instructions in the email you are sent after completing your purchase.
